Natalie founded Receipt in late 2023 with her close friend Paige because of shared music taste and a desire to create rather than just consume. She is a self taught drummer of three years, but music has been a huge part of her life since six years old, when she started learning piano. She loves playing in a band, because she likes thinking on her feet and enjoys performing for audiences. 

When Paige and Natalie started Receipt in 2023, Paige suggested being the lead singer as a joke. Before Receipt, Paige’s only musical experience was with the piano. Singing ushered in a whole new realm of worries and challenges that Paige still navigates today, but Paige’s participation in Receipt is undeniably one of her favorite activities. She is always looking forward to the next performance. 

Ayla joined Receipt in January 2024. She's always loved music but never really imagined herself as a musician. They were forced to start playing guitar in 6th grade by their mother but learned to love it as they progressed. The band was a new experience that brought her out of her shell.  They hope to explore more songs as well as creating originals to touch people’s souls as it did for them.

Alaia is the newest member of Receipt Band and has been playing guitar her whole life, and a couple years ago she started taking up bass to branch out more into other instruments. She’s always had a passion for music and performance and Receipt band is another outlet to play alternative music when she gets the chance. She also wears funky socks!!
